The Bjelasica mountain massif is characterized by gentle, round peaks and grasslands, while large and deep forests on its slopes hide several glacial lakes, with Biogradsko Lake the heart of the Biogradska Gora National Park. Komovi is the third highest mountain massif in Montenegro. It is known for its extremely beautiful mountain peaks, which are mostly accessible all year round. Durmitor is the most famous mountain massif in Montenegro with more than 40 peaks above 2,000 meters and 18 lakes, many kilometers of mountain trails, and numerous steep rocky walls, and the mountain belongs to the UNESCO National Park Durmitor. This mountain range has a lot to offer, from easy hiking tours, more demanding all-day hiking tours, adventurous climbing on the steep high walls of the mountains to ski trips on untouched snow.
