A group of ten tour operators from Turkey paid a study visit to Montenegro last week, organized by the National Tourism Organization (NTO). The realization of that study visit followed an online webinar organized by the NTO, which was attended by a large number of Turkish tour operators interested in cooperating with the Montenegrin tourism industry.
The tour operators stayed in Kolasin, where they had the opportunity to get acquainted with the current offer of the Kolašin 1600 ski center. This time, they are not based on the coast, but on other, rural areas of Montenegro and ski centers, to present a broader picture of the tourist offer of our country to the Turkish market. She stated that clients in Turkey are well acquainted with the coastal and gastronomic offer of Montenegro. “We want to strengthen our cooperation and hope that the number of tourists from Turkey who will visit your country will increase,” Yesilyurt added.
Ski resorts in Montenegro are actively working on the preparation of the upcoming winter tourist season and the organization of the visit of Turkish tour operators to the ski center is just one of the planned activities before the start of the season, which we implemented together with colleagues from the NTO.
