Director of Ski Resorts of Montenegro, Bojan Medenica, told RTCG Portal that preparations for the season in Kolašin are in their final phase and that part of the infrastructure will already be available to skiers as of tomorrow.
After a long wait, snow has finally fallen in sufficient quantity to ensure a safe ski season, Medenica told RTCG Portal.
“Most of the infrastructure has been prepared, and around 40 centimeters of snow has fallen so far. We expect that as of tomorrow we will already have part of the slopes and accompanying facilities available to skiers,” Medenica said.
He used the opportunity to invite everyone to visit Kolašin and enjoy winter sports.
The Institute for Hydrometeorology and Seismology announced rain, sleet and snow today for the lower northern regions, while higher areas will see snow, which is expected to spread in the afternoon or by the end of the day to parts of the central and higher mountain regions in the south.
