Restaurant Troglava opens this Friday!

On Friday, November 26th restaurant Troglava opens its doors to all lovers of good homemade food and a warm ambiance. Winter is upon us, get your skis ready! The restaurant was built in the spirit of a modern mountain environment with a capacity of 400 seats. The cuisine of the restaurant is based on traditional Montenegrin dishes prepared in the authentic way of the Bjelasica region. The fresh mountain air with mulled local wine and local products never leaves anyone indifferent. On the ground floor of the building where the restaurant is located, there is a cafe bar, where guests can get hot and cold, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. 

Visit of the Ambassador of Slovenia to the Ski Resorts of Montenegro

The Ambassador of Slovenia to Montenegro, Gregor Presker, expressed his desire to strengthen the cooperation between Slovenia and Montenegro through mutual support in the part of the economy related to tourism. Today, Presker visited the Ski Resorts of Montenegro and met with the Acting Executive Director Đuro Milošević and his associates. On that occasion, Presker announced that in the upcoming period he would work on informing the public in Slovenia about the capacities of the ski infrastructure in Montenegro to attract as many tourists as possible. Mister Milošević presented the entire offer of the ski center Kolašin 1600, plans for the upcoming winter tourist season with special emphasis on the commissioning of the K7 cable car that will connect the ski centers Kolašin 1600 and Kolašin 1450, which will make this ski center competitive in the region. It has also been agreed to organize a diplomatic day in the snow during the upcoming winter tourist season when diplomats from various countries will have the opportunity to compete in snow sports at the Kolašin 1600 ski center. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the travel agency “Gold Travel” from Podgorica, as well as a representative of the magazine for tourism and hospitality Caffe Montenegro.

Afforestation at the ski center

Ski resorts of Montenegro in cooperation with the Forest Administration, NGO Natura, the Association of Friends of Kolašin, and the Sinjavina Marathon today at the ski center Kolašin 1600 afforested areas near the slopes and the new cable car K7. The Forest Administration of Montenegro donated more than 1000 spruce seedlings that were planted at today’s action. Today’s action is a continuity of activities that have been carried out for several years to arrange this space to be more attractive for both summer and winter tourism. Such and similar activities are planned in the coming period. We thank all the activists and volunteers who contributed to this action.

Ski resort in Kolasin

For the needs of the winter 2021/22 season, the construction of a six-seater K7 cable car and 9 ski slopes in the length of 10.5 kilometers, with a total value of about 11 million euros, and whose realization will connect the ski centers Kolasin 1600 and Kolasin 1450, is being completed. Expansion of the parking space for cca 250 places will additionally affect the quality of the skiers’ experience on Bjelasica.
